You are invited to join a study of the book of Acts that will be offered via Zoom and in person beginning on Monday evening, April 12, from 7:00 to 8:15. Our seven-week study will be led by Rev. Dr. Donald Griggs, a retired Presbyterian pastor/educator living in Livermore, California.  Don Griggs was a professor at Presbyterian School of Christian Education when Rev. Johnson was a student. He has served in many roles as a Christian educator and loves studying and teaching the Bible.

What a unique opportunity we have to explore this rich Gospel with Don Griggs. Our seven-week study will have the following themes:
  • The Birth of the Christian Community: A Study of Acts 1:1-5:42
  • The Church Reaches Out to Hellenistic Jews and Samaritans: A Study of Acts 6:1-8:40
  • The Church Reaches Out to Gentiles: A Study of Acts 9:1-12:25
  • Paul's First Missionary Journey and and the First Church Council: A Study of Acts 13:1-15:41
  • Paul's Second and Third Missionary Journeys: A study of Acts 16:1-21:16
  • Paul's Arrest and Court Appearances: A Study of Acts 321:17-26:32
  • Paul's Odyssey: a Study of Acts 27:1-28:31
The church has ordered several books and they are available in the church office for $14.00 each. It is also available on Amazon on the Kindle platform.
