what we do
We do ministry together as a community. Each of our elders co-leads one of four Ministry Teams that, together, primarily comprise the work of being the church in the world. Our Teams are WORSHIP, SERVE, TEACH, and SUPPORT. But that's not all of who we are and what we do.
Every year we hold three major events for all of our neighbors:
The Easter Egg Hunt, typically the Saturday before Easter
All kids from 0-12 and their families are invited to join us for a morning of hunting for eggs, playing games, making art and crafts, and hearing the Easter story. Also, there's a cake walk.
Vacation Bible School, typically in mid July
We hold a one day VBS for all ages. For the past two years, we have invited all of our neighbors to a Neighbor Days VBS, based on everyone's favorite Presbyterian pastor, Mr. Rogers. We hold age-appropriate curricula, including classes for grown ups, and have a mission project so everyone not only knows how loved they are, but has an opportunity to love their neighbors as well.
The Fall Festival, Saturday October 26th
The Fall Festival brings together food, fun, fellowship, and of course trunk or treating as we invite everyone to join us in our Recreation Area for an afternoon of celebrating the season. For the past couple of years, we have been joined by some of our first responder friends. Last year a number of local non-profits participated as well.
For a small church, we do a lot. Come and join us sometime!
